The Sport Fit Program for Athletes is a full service functional performance training program, which is assessment driven and supported by research. At Sport Fit, we believe in using only evidenced based methods when training our athletes. That's why every athlete we train is offered the opportunity to undergo standardized functional mobility assessment. We utilize the highly regarded Functional Movement Screen, as well as other evidenced based screening tools to create a customized profile for each of the athletes we train.
We also use our knowledge as physical therapists, occupational therapists, strength and conditioning coaches, and athletic trainers to pinpoint weaknesses or movement limitations that may lead to sports related injuries and/or sub-optimal performance. We focus on corrective exercises and techniques to improve motor control, which in turn reduces likelihood of injury while improving overall sports performance (Speed, Power, Balance, Mobility, Agility).
